IPADS in Language Arts

Today we used The Space Aliens application on the IPADS to sequence letters in the alphabet. We also used the Doodle Buddy app to write some rhyming words.

Grandparents Day

We celebrated Grandparents Day. The Pilots did such a great job remembering their lines as Pilgrims and all the wonderful songs! We were so fortunate to have so many grandparentls join us!

Scientist of the Week

Duncan was the Pilot B Scientist for "M" Week!


Our experiment was called "Milk Rainbow". Duncan showed us how he put drops of food coloring into a dish of milk.

Mystery Reader

Today we had Kiera's mom as our Mystery Reader! She read the Chinese tale, "Tiki Tiki Tembo". She even taught the class a little about syllables. I think we are all glad we don't have a name as long as Tiki Tiki Tembo did!

This week we celebrated "M" week! In Math we sorted, counted, graphed, and of course ate M&Ms. We also enjoyed Matthew's homemade muffins for the Fun Friday snack. Mmmmmm!

50th Day of School

Today we celebrated the 50th Day of School in Pilot. We colored 50 objects on feathers to make our headdresses. In Math we drew shapes in groups of ten to count to 50. The Pilots really enjoyed eating our 50th Day cookies to celebrate! Time is flying by!

Ipads in Math

IPADS in MATH

Last week our Math class used Ipads to reinforce some of the Math skills we have been learning. The students traced numbers, counted objects, and extended patterns. What a fun way to learn!

Mystery reader

Strawberry Shortcake came for a visit!

Today we had Mackenzie's mom, aka Stawberry Shortcake, come visit as our Mystery Reader. She read the story, "Strawberry Shortcakes Show and Tell Surprise" and shared real strawberries to eat. What an added touch to come in full character costume!!!
