Johnny Appleseed Day!

Happy Birthday Johnny Appleseed!

This week we celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday.  We peeled and cored our apples that we brought in to school and cooked the apples all day.  We ate our applesauce and it was oh so yummy and healthy too!  Many of our Pilot friends eat the skin on the apples now that they know how healthy it is.  Yay!

Today in Pilot B we learned about some different kinds of apples.  We cut open the apples to see the seeds that made a star inside.  Last but not least we tasted all the apples. We are looking forward to graphing our favorite kinds of apples tomorrow!

Pilot B's 10th Day of School Celebration!

Today we celebrated the 10th Day of school!  We cut out 10th Day star badges, cut out and assembled 10 scoops of ice cream on an ice cream cone, and did a lot of exercises counting up to 10 and down from 10.  We loved "blasting off"!  For our snack we enjoyed a special ice cream treat!  We loved the 10th day of school!
